TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
