TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
